Ava Lau has been working at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) as its Group Pensions Manager since 2016. As well as being responsible for LSEG's global pension arrangements, she has led a number of benefits review projects and financial wellbeing initiatives. Prior to joining LSEG, she worked as an actuarial consultant at Willis Towers Watson, advising pension scheme trustees and corporate sponsors. During her time at WTW, she was seconded to Tesco where she helped with the closure of its defined benefit scheme and the design and communication of the new retirement savings plan.
Ava has a first class degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Oxford and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries. In addition to English, she speaks Cantonese and Mandarin.
